With this high speed scanner’s adaptive impression scanning technology, we can digitize your traditional PVS impression or gypsum model to create a highly accurate and detailed 3D virtual model. This easy and fast workflow allows any dentist to become a DIGITAL provider of incredibly precise fitting CAD/CAM restorations. Digital design ensures materials are all of the correct material thickness and produces the best fitting restoration as it eliminates traditional steps that often introduce dimensional instability into the fabrication process.
The 3Shape software platform is incredibly expansive and powerful. One CAD design module allows for the fabrication of a virtual diagnostic wax-up, which we can email to you for evaluation with the patient so improvements can be made before milling the desired final result. The design software also permits us to design nearly any dental restoration imaginable, including fixed restorations, like post & cores, crowns, and bridges, to removeable prosthetics, like RPD framework design and digital denture design, to implant components, like custom abutments and different overdenture bar types.
