What You Can Do About Bad Breath

One of the biggest oral health issues is BAD BREATH. Nearly 40 million Americans suffer from bad breath, other wise known as halitosis. This can be very embarrassing and halter your social life and overall confidence. We have good news, there are simple and effective ways to freshen breath.

Brush and Floss Regularly
One of main causes of bad breath is plaque. Plaque will build up on teeth if not regularly brushed and flossed. Food left between teeth adds up to a big problem. I'm sure you have heard your dentist say you need to brush and flossing your teeth two times a day.

Scrape Your Tongue
The coating that builds up on your tongue is a foul smelling bacteria. A great way to eliminate the bacteria is to gently brush your tongue for a few seconds.

Avoid Foods That Sour Your Breath
Onions and garlic are the main offenders. "Unfortunately, brushing after you eat onion or garlic doesn't help," says dentist Richard Price, DMD, a spokesperson for the ADA.

Rinse Your Mouth Out
In addition to brushing and watching out for certain foods, anti-bacterial mouthwashes add extra protection by killing and removing plaque. After eating, take a few minutes to rinse your mouth out with either anti-bacterial mouthwash or just water.

We hope these tips help you cure your Bad Breath. For more tips and information take a look at this article by WebMD on bad breath Linked HERE! If your bad breath continues, please visit your local dentist for treatment options.

Can I Get Dental Implants If I Grind My Teeth?

For people who are Teeth Grinders, otherwise known as bruxism, getting dental implants are a great option. For some people, they might have grind their teeth so far down that they need Dental Implants. The issue Teeth Grinders run into is after they get their implants, they continue to grind, thus causing them to fail and break apart

The best solution for teeth grinders is the dental implant material zirconia. The main reason most implants will fail is because most artificial teeth are made of acrylic or porcelain. Although these materials are great for blending in with your natural teeth color, they are more likely to chip, crack and wear over time. Zironcia is the hardest dental material available, giving dental implants strength and longevity. At Jurim Dental Studio Inc. our in-house laboratory team will give you a perfectly fitting set of beautiful and functional teeth.

The First and Only Bondable Zirconia Veneer -  The Zeneer™
The Zeneer™ has a very natural appearance, due to the custom build-up of feldspathic porcelain on top of its zirconia core. The zirconia core is fabricated using CAD/CAM technology, it has the most precise margins of any veneer restoration currently available. It consists of an incredibly thin (0.2 mm) inner core of sintered zirconia that is milled in-house using CAD/CAM technology onto which compatible, lifelike feldspathic porcelain is built. This process allows for the fabrication of customized final restoration whose high strength is paralleled only by its superior esthetics.
